Central Pacific 'Jupiter' at the Golden Spike site, Promontory, Utah
Leland Stanford's Central Pacific Railroad built the western parts of the transcontinental railroad, starting in California and working their way east through the Sierra. The Jupiter was the Central Pacific locomotive that came to Promontory, Utah for the joining of east and west. Both the Jupiter and the Union Pacific locomotives are modern reproductions, not the originals.

ATK Thiokol (Morton Thiokol) Rocket Exhibit, Thiokol, Utah
Quite a contrast from 19th-century steam locomotives, the "Rocket Garden" at the ATK Thiokol facility just up the road from the turnoff to the Golden Spike site. Anybody have a match???
