Wild tiger lily along the High Trail above Agnew Meadows
The wildflowers were much in evidence as we climbed the switchbacks
from Agnew Meadows and headed north along the High Trail. I had never
seen tiger lilies like these in the wild, being more familiar with the
cultivated varieties in my grandmother's garden 40+ years ago.
